Driving Directions: From North: Approximately five hours drive From Kuala Lumpur. On the highway for approximately 45 minute drive to Karak, where the highway ends to the town of Kuantan to road signs to Kuala Terengganu. This is a coastal road heading north. Driving to Cherating will take about an hour from Kuantan. Along the way you will pass Pantai Batu Hitam, Pantai Beserah, and then you will reach Cherating. Look for a sign by the road which says Kampung Cherating. Suria Cherating Beach Resort is border with Kemaman and the last resort in Cherating to the Best Western Suria Cherating Beach Resort.
From South: From Kuala Lumpur, take the East-West Karak highway to Kuantan, starting at the first toll plaza at Gombak. Toll charges are approximately RM4 per car. Follow the signboards to Kuantan. You will exit the East-West highway at the second toll plaza at Karak. Charges are RM2.50 per car. The journey thereafter will continue on a trunk road taking you through the verdant countryside and passing through several quaint towns in the states of Pahang and Terengganu. Along the way, you will pass through Mentakab, Temerloh, Maran and Gambang towns. After Gambang, follow the signboard indicating the direction to Cherating Kuala Terengganu. You will bypass Kuantan town. The trunk road will lead you to Cherating - ChukaiKemaman. The Best Western Suria Cherating Beach Resort is the right side 500 metres from main road.
From West: From Kuantan Kuala Terengganu Highway, take Karak Highway to Kuala Lumpur, due west from Kuantan. From Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport you will reach T-junction. Turn left and drive to Chukai. Pass by Gebeng Industrial Area And Kuantan Port. You will pass the Sungal Ultar Village. The Best Western Suria Cherating Beach Resort as approximately six miles.
