This 200-year old manor-house built by the Duke of Meckleburg is one of three neo-classical white palaces which overtook a small but idyllic park. All of its stylish rooms retained their inimitable original charm when they were tastefully renovated in the nineties. The two restaurants feature furniture from the Biedermeier period and specialise in seafood and game, all served with superb white and red wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy. Situated in the heart of Bad Doberan, with its historical ensemble of traditional white manor houses, not far from Heilgendamm - 'the white town' on the Baltic Sea and close to the harbour town Rostock. Doberan-Heilgendamm is a haven of tranquillity. Here you can smell the nearby sea, bask in the peace and quiet, and wake up to the sound of Molli - the old steam train. Rostock Airport Laage (RLG) - 30 KM / 19 Miles from hotel.
Driving Directions: Leave the airport and join the B103 or A19, follow in the direction of Rostock. Take the Autobahn A20 in the direction of Luebeck and take the exit for Bad Doberan and follow the directions for Doberan Zentrum.
